A product of the Windlaw Boys Club,the big bad, mad, goalkeeper with the champagne lifestyle is best described as jalfrezi, oriental, psychotic even, but what do you expect, he's a goalie !!.He was voted Players Player Of The Year for season 2005/06 after a superb season in which he kept us in a number of games almost single-handedly.
Big Boris, as some of the squad have taken to calling him (I have no idea why !!) is one of the best, if not the best, goalkeepers in the league. Another consistent performer who has made many crucial saves over the seasons to keep Windlaw in the hunt for trophies.
His shot stopping ability is top notch and he is very competent in dealing with crossed balls into the box. Strangley enough, the big man is also a bit of a free kick expert, easily comparible with the former Chile goalkeeper, Jose Luis Chilavert.Indeed his claw-hammer of a left-foot has seen him win back-to-back Crossbar Challenges at training last season.
The man behind the Windlaw team spirit but also the man behind many sore heads to the players through inexplicable bouts of whinging, but overall his desire to win shines through the most.He’ll be found in the nightclub formerly known as Victorias every Saturday night.
