After years of threatening,the 2005/06 season was the season that the wee man finally came of age as one of our top top players.In the absence of Scott Williamson,Eck has been amazing and last season partnered both Benny Carey and Alan Nugent in attack and led the line brilliantly.
He has electric pace,good strength,bags of courage and links the teams play very intelligently.Despite not being a great one on one finisher,he bagged 16 goals in 27 appearances to add the Top Goalscorer Award to the Players Player Of The Year Award.
At times,he carried the team through many difficult times and for Windlaw to be successful,this man will have to maintain the very high standards he has set.
