A now legendary striker who really has seen it all and won it all since his move from Fernhill Rovers in 2000 alongside Scott Williamson.
The big man has won every honour within our league at least once and on a personal note has also scooped the club’s Player Of The Year Award in 2005.
His partnership with Williamson has been amazing and their understanding up to Williamson’s injury was almost telepathic.Benny has been a superb hit-man and foil and his overall ability has seen him look just as accomplished at centre-half or in midfield.
Newly appointed to the coaching staff this summer,the big man assures us this is his final season as a player.Time will tell but finding replacements for players of his calibre will be almost impossible.
