In a dire first half, the home side has a first half stonewall penalty denied when Chris Kerr's desperate lunge sees him handle in the box. Windlaw take a shock lead on 35 through Alan Nugent's superb angular drive.

Windlaw collapse immediately and predictably, conceding two early goals. A rammy ensues as the ref denies the visitors a stonewall penalty and Windlaw's Carey and Blochairn's centre half get first use of the soap. A Windlaw sitter follows then Blochairn wrap up the points after the usual keystone cop defending in the Windlaw box. Steph McCann pulls a late one back for Windlaw who have another McCann effort cleared off the line in the last minute for what would have been an ill-deserved point.

Summing Up - Another Saturday, another gutless capitulation from a once proud Windlaw side bereft of talent, guts and guile. Well done to Blochairn who are on a fine run and tried to play good passing football!
