1. NAME
The group is called Castlemilk Community Football Development Group (CCFDG).
All Football Clubs within the Castlemilk Community are invited to be represented on the CCFDG committee and attend group meetings as associate members of the group.
2. AIMS & OBJECTIVES
To encourage and develop football participation in Castlemilk for all ages.
To increase access to local sports facilities for local people.
To make representation to decision makers, league committees, councillors, facility managers and staff on behalf of all CCFDG associate member clubs.
To improve and help develop local facilities.
To promote past and present professional footballers who originate from Castlemilk.
To encourage interaction among clubs and provide assistance to all members.
To encourage people to represent our community positively.
To increase skills/ qualifications of team coaches.
To act in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Scottish Youth Football Association and Scottish Amateur Football Association.
3. MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to any Football Clubs who’s majority of players come from Castlemilk and retain a Castlemilk identity.
Each Club will register one vote for any decision making although Clubs with multiple teams can be represented at meetings by individual teams. The committee consists of all member clubs (not only office bearers).
Past and present professional footballers from Castlemilk will be invited to become honourary members of CCFDG and assist with promoting and fostering football in Castlemilk.
Each member club will be held accountable for their own club members actions whilst representing CCFDG.
Clubs and individuals can and will be expelled from CCFDG if the committee deem necessary.4. OFFICE BEARERS
The office bearers shall be elected annually and shall consist of: Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary.
No more than one person from an individual Club shall become an Office Bearer at the one time unless agreed by all member clubs.
5. MEETINGS & CORRESPONDENCE
The AGM will take place in January each year.
There shall be regular meetings (at least 4 per year) as required to discuss current and future developments.
All CCFDG member clubs will be expected to take an active role and provide assistance to Office Bearers.
All correspondance will be sent via email. An email address should be supplied by each associate member club.6. FINANCE
All monies shall be accounted for in accordance with the format stated by committee.
All monies will be held in the name of Castlemilk Community Football Development Group.
All money generated will be used for the benefit of football participation in Castlemilk and CCFDG initiatives.
7. PROPERTY
All property and equipment will remain the property of the CCFDG at all times.
